Our history
Every great story starts small – and so does the story of EOLOGIX-PING. Our adventure began with just four individuals spread across two continents, united by a vision to revolutionize wind energy. We aimed to create groundbreaking wireless sensor technology that simplifies operations for wind turbine operators, driving us toward a sustainable future. Join us as we take you through our history.
New branding strengthens the bond

The best of two worlds combined in EOLOGIX-PING
2023 was time for change: eologix and Ping Services merged to become EOLOGIX-PING, and we relocated our headquarter to a new, modern facility in Graz.
A year of great success
The Horizon 2020 project drove EOLOGIX forward from ice detection to comprehensive condition monitoring of wind turbines. Ping Services launched its inaugural product, the acoustic Ping Monitor, with a first project at an Australian wind farm.
The birth of Ping Services
In this year Matthew Stead and Jon Cooper established Ping Services Pty Ltd. and began their journey to success with acoustic monitoring.
Foundation of eologix sensor technology gmbh
Thomas Schlegl & Michael Moser founded eologix sensor technology gmbh. In the same year, they installed the first sensor at an Austrian wind farm.

Co-founder of eologix-ping. together with Michael Moser. With more than 15 years of experience in sensor technology, he leads EOLOGIX-PING in the wind industry as CEO.
Michael Moser is Co-Founder of eologix and the developer of ON-BLADE technology. As CTO, he leads the R&D team, driving innovations in energy-autonomous, wireless, and flexible sensors that optimize wind energy efficiency and reduce downtime. He incubated eologix at Science Park Graz before co-founding the company in 2014 with Thomas Schlegl and Hubert Zangl. Prior to that, he spent six years as a researcher at Graz University of Technology, specializing in capacitive and wireless sensor systems. Michael holds a Doctorate in Electrical Engineering and Electronics, with a dissertation on capacitive icing detection, and a Diplom-Ingenieur in Electrical Engineering – Toningenieur. His work combines deep technical expertise with entrepreneurial vision to advance sensor technology in renewable energy and industrial applications.
As Co-founder of Ping Services he has led the company through various phases like investment rounds, early stages of technology development and growing sales. Now he uses his experience in his role as CPO.
